Buying guide
A buyer's checklist before ordering ACDB, DCDB and earthing kits in bulk
A bulk order that arrives slightly off spec is a much bigger problem than a single unit that is wrong, since it affects every installation in the batch. A short checklist upfront avoids most of that risk.
Most of the questions in this checklist sound obvious individually, but on a bulk order across multiple sites, it is easy for one of them to slip through, especially when different sites in the same batch have slightly different requirements. This is the list we actually walk through with EPC teams and dealers before confirming a large order.
Confirm the specification per site, not per project
If the order covers multiple installations, check whether every site actually shares the same inverter capacity, phase and string layout, or whether it only looks that way on a summary sheet. It is common for a project to have two or three slightly different configurations across sites, which means the ACDB and DCDB specs need to be confirmed per site rather than assumed uniform across the whole batch.
Lock in phase and rating before manufacturing starts
As covered in our piece on single phase versus three phase ACDB, this is decided by the grid connection, not the system size, and it is one of the costliest things to get wrong on a bulk order since a mismatch means reworking every unit in that batch rather than one.
Decide on delivery scheduling upfront
Large orders rarely need to arrive all at once, and staggering delivery to match your installation schedule reduces on site storage and handling. Tell us your rollout timeline when you place the order, and we can plan production and delivery batches around it rather than shipping the full order in one go and leaving units sitting in storage for weeks.
Confirm earthing kit quantities separately
Earthing kits are easy to under order on a bulk purchase because they are often treated as an afterthought next to the ACDB and DCDB line items. Check how many earthing points each site actually needs, covered in more detail in our earthing kit pricing guide, and order accordingly rather than assuming one kit per site covers every installation type.
Ask about labelling and documentation
For a multi site rollout, having each box labelled with the site or project reference before it leaves our facility saves real time during installation, especially when a delivery covers several sites at once. If you need test certificates or datasheets bundled with the shipment for your own project documentation, mention this at order time rather than after delivery.
Put it all in one enquiry
The fastest way to get an accurate bulk quote is one enquiry that covers site count, specification per site, delivery timeline and documentation needs together, rather than several back and forth messages. Send it through the contact page or on WhatsApp, and we will come back with a quote and a realistic production schedule.
